Blogging lingo....... What gives?

As I said before, I am fairly new to this blogging arena. I will once again, display my ignorance for the world to see. :-)

I read these comments and don't get some of the jargon. Like "lol", what does that mean? Can anyone layout a list of these acronyms and their meaning?
